We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

We have had a great relationship with Sodexo for almost a decade now, but in 2018 we are going one step further in our quest to jointly support The Brain Tumour Charity in support of our long time friend James McHugh who many of us have worked closely with over the years.

James has asked us to support the charity which has been close to him as he continues his brave battle. The Brain Tumour Charity is dedicated to funding research and early diagnosis of brain tumours as well as offering support and care to those affected and their families.

NJW and Sodexo are united in their desire to make our mark in contributing to the charity, with employees from both firms challenging themselves in fundraising events and activities in summer 2018.

We are kicking off with one of the most challenging and arduous events on the UK sporting calendar, the Tough Mudder.

Competitors who enter Tough Mudder events typically fall into one of two categories: Those who are entering their first event and have no idea how brutal spluttering and hobbling ten gruelling, off-road,  unrelenting miles, littered with twenty obstacles not out of place in an SAS selection test. The other category belongs to those super-fit athletes and the borderline insane!

NJW CEO Nigel Warrick, COO Kevin Fitzpatrick, Anthon Dolan (Sodexo) Beth Barlow, Rosanna Woodhouse, Kate Whitaker, Jamie Catlow and James Windley will be completing the ten mile Tough Mudder  Full (yes the longest and most insane variation) at Hemel Hempstead on Sunday 8th July 2018.

By sponsoring us you will be helping the lives of thousands of people in the UK, please give generously.
