Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the NL100K Charity Cycle fundraising page.

Andrew Wickett, Elliot Titre, Jonathan Stuart, Mark Bryan, Nick Young, Peter Creighton, Ross McBride, Alan Davies and Steve Rolt from McCarthy & Stone's North London Office will be cycling 100K on Friday 6th October to raise vital fund for the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), our charity partner for 2017. Come rain or shine the team will be completing the 100K across Herts & Beds, stopping off at some of our new and up and coming developments in Letchworth, Stevenage, Biggleswade and Knebworth before returning to the North London office in Hatfield.

As a Region, North London have been tasked with raising £15,000 for RVS, to contribute towards the Group target of £130,000 by the end of the year. Sponsorship from this bike ride will go towards the NL region reaching its target.

RVS has 35,000 amazing volunteers that provide emotional and practical support to more than 10,000 older people each month in hospital, at home or in the community.

*£6 covers the cost of delivering 'Meals on Wheels' to an older person in their home

*£10 could help provide essential equipment for a volunteer to help older people in an emergency

*£17 could help recruit a new volunteer

*£30 helps a Good Neighbours volunteer make regular visits to an older person at their home

*£100 could help with the costs of a weekly lunch club, where older people can meet old friends and make new ones
