Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The 2 week challenge, starting in late June, is made up of 5 stages (as below); with a total distance of around 1,200 miles (this is not the shortest route as it sticks to quieter roads):

The South West: from Land's End through the hilly lanes of Cornwall and Devon, including Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks, across the Somerset Levels to Glastonbury and past the Severn Estuary to Gloucester.

The West Midlands: following the River Severn through Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, then past Ironbridge Gorge and into Shropshire.

The North West: across the Cheshire Plain and onto the Forest of Bowland; before passing the Lake District and Carlisle and crossing the border into Scotland.

Southern Scotland: across the Southern Uplands, through Glasgow following the Clyde and onto Loch Lomond. Passing the Trossachs and then alongside Loch Tay to the Highland Gateway town of Pitlochry.  

The Scottish Highlands: over the pass of Drumochter to Strathspey then over Slochd Summit to reach Inverness. Finally on up through the "Flow Country" in the Northern Highlands to reach my destination in the far north!

The average distance will be more than 85 miles, with around 4,000 feet of climbing, each day.
