The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Di was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2013 and, in addition to her surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, has received so much kindness and support from the staff and friends of the hospital. On Tuesday, 8th January this year, she was discharged and would like to thank everyone for the last five and a half years.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March 2017 and am currently receiving treatment and support from the wonderful staff at The Royal Marsden. I feel well, keep active and feel very fortunate.
