Story

The Class of 2020 Graduates at NTU are urging everyone to get involved in the #fmb3x5challenge to raise money for a fund close to FMB’s heart – Supporting Opportunities in Memory of Becky and Philippa 💜. We wanted to create a challenge that you have control over, so instead of limiting you to running 5K (we’re not all athletes), you can do 5 of anything! Style 5 pieces 👗, eat 5 doughnuts 🍩, bake using 5 ingredients 👩🍳, drink 5 shots 🍸 – the choice is yours, as long as you donate £5 in return! Please get involved in the challenge, tag your friends and keep fundraising! It’s for an amazing cause .

On Saturday 15th December 2018, Nottingham Trent University was deeply saddened to hear of the deaths of two of its students, who were studying on the BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Branding course. Becky Ward and Philippa Bertram will be remembered fondly as two highly valued students, and are missed greatly by their tutors, friends and fellow students. The families of Becky and Philippa hope that by creating the fund "Supporting Opportunities In Memory of Becky and Philippa", they will be able to support students in the Fashion Management, Marketing and Communication department to access opportunities that will enhance their University experience and future careers and help them form friendships for life.
