I'm taking on the Chorley 10k to raise funds for Derian House Children's Hospice! Derian House is based in Chorley but they provide their services to children and families across the North West of England. Providing help and support to children with life-limiting or life-shortening conditions comes at a cost of £5m for the charity, only 12% of this is funded by any statutory sources, meaning they have to find the remaining £4.4m themselves.
