Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, please continue reading my story.

This story is one I struggle speaking about, but I'd like to make it easier.
My grandad sadly passed away on the 9th of June 2019, over 1000 miles away from us in Poland. In the next few days I was flying over 4,000 miles further from home to for a work and travel programme in Nashville for the summer. I never had the chance to properly say goodbye.
My grandad battled with dementia for over 7 years, which got progressively worse and so severe he needed care at all times. I will never forget how happy he was to see us at Christmas, he never forgot us even when we visited so little. Yet we didn't know that Christmas would be the last of our time together.
A father of 5, grandfather to 9, the kindest most selfless person and so much more that I could say about him and the life he lived.
I will be honouring his memory by running a total of 150 kilometres in June.
Those who know me well will understand how much I disliked running so this is a pretty big deal when I couldn't run 1k without crying of pain. Please support my choice of charity in finding a diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure for dementia.

Alongside this I will also be donating to The Little Princess Trust as something that I've always wanted to do. I will be donating 12 inches of my hair to help support the creation of wigs for those who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions such as alopecia.
As many others do I sometimes struggle with alopecia which is very much stress related, this first started during my GSCEs at school where I'd have to cover patches in shame from people seeing. I've learnt to accept it because my hair will grow back whenever I get an episode, however this is not the case for many others so I'd like to pay my respects in this way.
So my goal is 150k for £150 in one month for Alzheimer's Research UK
& a hair donation of 12 inches for Little Princess Trust. Hopefully my small contribution can make a little difference.
