There are many reasons I decided to undertake this challenge. Apart from the obvious, an opportunity to lose some weight and spend some time with the old man, I believe that this cycle ride is a chance to do something worthwhile for other people.

Maybe you don’t agree with the cause of a particular campaign or you may fundamentally disagree with the concept as a whole. Whatever your views everyone must commonly agree that the individual women and men of the armed forces make tremendous sacrifices. Apart from putting themselves in awful conditions and situations for months on end many pay the ultimate price and come home severely injured or don’t come home at all. Agreeing with the cause or not those men and women put themselves into harm’s way without question for you and we owe them and their families our thanks and continued support.
