On March 8th 2022, beautiful baby Sofia Loren was born sleeping. The shock and pain of her loss to her loving parents Faye and Lauren, the whole family and of course myself was at times unbearable. 

The loss of a child is described as the most unbearable pain and my two best friends as first-time parents were shattered by this tragedy. 

They were offered a place with Zoes Place, a hospice in Liverpool which supports families of babies and infants up to 5 years old who are in need. They do the most amazing job and their care and support at this time to Faye, Lauren and Sofia, as well as the family was exceptional. These people are amazing, they go above and beyond. They provide comfort at the time it is most needed. Their work is hidden, and many people thankfully do not know much of what Zoes Place do and offer and I want to spread awareness on the great work they do every day. 

I want to give something back to Zoes Place, in Sofia's name and for her beautiful and loving parents Faye and Lauren, whom I am so lucky to call my best friends. 

I want to raise vital money for them to continue supporting people like Faye, Lauren and baby Sofia. So, they can provide comfort to the babies and infants who are in need. 

I will be climbing to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro - Uhuru Peak on 1st September 2023. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: standing at 5,895 metres (19,341 ft). 

This will be a huge challenge and it will take 7 full days to complete.  I am setting myself this challenge as I want to raise as much as possible for this amazing charity, and I hope you would be able to support me in doing this.
