In February half-term I will be visiting Rwanda on a school trip to meet and help those who were impacted by the horrific genocide of 1994. I will be visiting schools, orphanages and women’s refuges in order to learn about their lives and provide the children with clothes, toys and stationery. 

Some of the things we will be doing include teaching lessons to the children we visit, painting a house we have funded for a family to live in and working in a card making factory run by female survivors of the genocide.

We are raising money in order to buy animals and furniture for those most greatly affected, as well as sponsoring children to be able to go to school who would not otherwise have the money. Furthermore, we are buying toys and stationery to help furnish the schools we visit. Any donations would be amazing! Xxx
