Story
Anthony Nolan is a pioneering charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer. Every day, Anthony Nolan matches incredible individuals willing to donate stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants.
As some of you may be aware my brother, Dan, was diagnosed with a very rare form of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (Mantle Cell), back in December last year. Luckily he is on the mend now but that wouldn't be the case if there weren't charities and organisations out there researching and finding new ways to treat these illnesses.
Around the same time that Dan became ill I started running and soon became aware that I could support Anthony Nolan through an event such as the London Marathon.
Ironically The London Marathon and I both share our 40th birthdays within a month of each other this year so a great year for me to take part!
