Campaign by Oxfam GB (RCN 202918)
Oxjam is the music festival that beats poverty. Dedicated volunteers, incredible unsigned artists, and gems of independent venues come together throughout October to form the UK's largest grassroots music festival - all raising money for Oxfam.

Story

Oxjam Brixton is back! On 13th October 2019, we are putting on a day-long festival in some of Brixton's most iconic venues to raise money for Oxfam GB. Oxjam Brixton is just one of the many festivals happening around the country during October. This JustGiving page is specifically for Oxjam Brixton's fundraising efforts. Any donation you make will be added to the overall Oxjam 2019 pot after the event.

Oxjam is a festival like no other.A new type of music festival that is part of Oxfams rich musical history.Oxjam started 2006 with the aim of creating a network of music-loving people across the UK, all united by a shared goal to raise money to fight poverty and suffering around the world. Its a community festival run by volunteers and made up of multi-venue festivals and gigs taking place across the UK throughout October. Its all about supporting independent music venues and providing a platform for up and coming musical talent while raising money to fight poverty and inequality worldwide. Now thats something we can all get behind.Since 2006 weve gone on to host more than 60,000 musicians playing to an audience of 1.5 million people, raising well over £2.8 million. We've also helped break bands such as Everything Everything, Foals, Young Fathers and Drenge. Weve also had backing from the likes of Metronomy, Annie Mac, Mr Jukes and Fatboy Slim.
