After meeting some crew and volunteers at events I was surprised to find out that Air Ambulances are totally funded by donations from the pubic.  I have decided to help in a small way by requesting donations to be made to this great charity instead of spending money on gifts for my birthday.  Every penny will go to support this cause which saves many lives every year.  I hate to think about anyone needing the Air Ambulance but it is reassuring to know it exists.
