Story
This June, I’m taking on the challenge of walking 30 miles to support local autistic people—because this is personal to me. As someone with autism, I know first-hand how much of a difference the right support can make.
Autism affects how people experience the world. Everyone is different, but many of us face challenges with things like communication, independence, and just being understood. That’s why I want to give back—and also to show what someone with autism can do.
I was especially moved by the story of Musa. He’s autistic and also has seizures. Just a year ago, he was going through serious health problems and struggling with daily life. But with support from the amazing team at Active Prospects, things changed. Now, Musa volunteers at a foodbank and hospital, has built strong friendships, and is about to start his first paid job—training others to better understand autism.
Stories like Musa’s really show how much of a difference support can make. And that’s what I’m walking for.
💙 £100 could fund activities to help someone feel less isolated
💙 £250 could pay for a communication aid
Every donation helps someone move towards a more independent and fulfilling life.
If you can support me—by donating, sharing this, or simply cheering me on—it would mean a lot.
Thank you so much 💙
