Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page and for supporting Help Rural Nepal.
The charity began 7 years ago and has been supporting a rural community in Dhading District, with health and education projects.
The school's facilities were improving  with  computers and libraries and the health post received more necessary equipment.

On 25th April there was a devastating earthquake which killed thousands of people and injured thousands more. 
Dhading was near the epicentre and most of the houses and schools were badly damaged or destroyed. People were  homeless and their animals and food stores were mostly buried under rubble.
Within a few days we were able to send food, first aid  supplies, tents and tarpaulins to help with emergency relief.
Since then,  our Nepali partner Shital Dharel has been working with Help Rural Nepal and a Dutch charity  to build 65 temporary homes for families to protect them from the Monsoon rains that arrive in July.

With your generous donations we are able to help  these communities in this emergency situation and in the future.
