MND24
Campaign by The University of Edinburgh (RCN SC004307)
Motor neuron disease (MND) causes muscle weakness and paralysis, difficulty speaking, swallowing and breathing. There is no known cure for this devastating and ultimately fatal disease. MND24 is a global effort to fundraise in aid of vital research.

Story

I like the fact that the MND24 is a global challenge that will see participants fundraising in aid of motor neuron disease (MND) research. It's been a real privilege to be a small part of the dedicated research team looking to find treatments and potentially a cure for MND. I've been fortunate to have met some wonderful people living with MND and have always been amazed at their capacity to raise funds for MND research at a time in their lives when things were extremely tough. Truly humbling.

I am fundraising in aid of the Euan MacDonald Centre for MND Research, based at the University of Edinburgh. Please donate to my JustGiving page today and help researchers at the Euan MacDonald Centre for MND Research who are working hard to find treatments that can slow, stop or reverse the progression of MND and improve the quality of life for people living with MND. Thank you for your kind donation - your support really means a lot to me.
