MND24
Campaign by The University of Edinburgh (RCN SC004307)
Motor neuron disease (MND) causes muscle weakness and paralysis, difficulty speaking, swallowing and breathing. There is no known cure for this devastating and ultimately fatal disease. MND24 is a global effort to fundraise in aid of vital research.

Story

MND24 is a global challenge that will see participants fundraising in aid of motor neuron disease (MND) research. This weekend we have a local team from in and around Edinburgh walking from Balerno to Slateford along the Water of Leith walkway, and also some very brave people going for a dip in the sea at Portobello (brrr!)

We are fundraising in aid of the Euan MacDonald Centre for MND Research, based at the University of Edinburgh. We are always amazed at the generosity and support that we at the Euan MacDonald Centre receive from people living with MND and their family and friends, this is our way of saying thank-you.

Please donate to our JustGiving page today and help researchers at the Euan MacDonald Centre for MND Research who are working hard to find treatments that can slow, stop or reverse the progression of MND and to improve the quality of life for people living with MND.

Thank you for your kind donation - your support really means a lot to us.
