Please help me raise some money for Eden Valley Hospice in memory of my wonderful dad, Dennis.

On 9 October 2012 my dad had a modest 70th birthday celebration in hospital. Days later we were given the devastating news that he had a disease that was incurable. The disease was furious and only weeks later on the 22 December 2012, following two days of peace and comfort in the Eden Valley Hospice, he slept away with his family around him.

In memory of my dad I shall be joining Eden Valley Hospice in October 2014 on their first overseas challenge trekking across the Jordanian desert from Dana to Petra. It will be six days of roughing it in the desert!!! Trekking by day in the heat of the Arabian sun on bedouin paths and camping by night under the stars!

Why ...... ?  the middle east was a major influence throughout my dads life and a place I am keen to return in his memory. The trek will be challenging and is to raise funds and to support the valuable work of Eden Valley Hospice.
