Jacques' wish after his death was that instead of unnecessary flowers, flower arrangements, and wreaths, people would spend their money on making a donation for the World Land Trust. Jacques always cared greatly for nature and chose for a completely eco-friendly funeral. He also wanted to be buried in Natuurbegraafplaats Hillig Meer in Drenthe, where he and his coffin will be completely given back to nature. His life philosophy was always that death was just a part of life, and that in time everything goes back to molecules and atoms. 

Jacques was always saddened by the destructive impact of man on nature, and this is his final way of trying to counteract this. With the help of your donations, trees will be planted and nature's threatened habitats will be protected through the World Land Trust.
