I'm running because:

- African Promise is a fantastic charity giving children an education worth having, whilst supporting and empowering the local community

- I'm fatter than usual (104kg!!!) and need to lose some weight

- Once upon a time, I used to do a bit of jogging

Training has been challenging (non-existent). If anyone would like a wager, I'm up for a challenge: £1 for every minute under 2.5 hours?
