Raising funds by taking on the iconic London Marathon as part of Team Marsden to make a difference to cancer patients everywhere

Story

First of all I HATE RUNNING, just so we are clear. It’s not my sport as many of you know. However I have always loved watching the London Marathon and because I love London I want to see if I can run it this year. I’m not on great shape as I’m injured so there is som jeopardy here as to whether I’ll make it. Ooh exciting.

I’m running for Royal Marsden Cancer charity, they helped prolong my mum’s life and provided her with extremely good care and she wanted to recognise this  so I’ll be running with her in mind as well as others

I know times are tough right now but if you can please spare some money and donate to this charity. I really do t want to have to do this again, so I’m just asking this once

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, they will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
