My mum lived with Alzheimer's for 9 years and, in her later years, was denied the independence she had fought for and cherished through her life. She didn't know of a number of family celebrations and, in particular, the births of her two great grandsons.

Andy and I are doing a 25 km walk at Easter to raise money to help research this disease.
