Event: Kilimanjaro Ladies Challenge 2022!, from 12 March 2022 to 21 March 2022
In memory of Rigel Smith
An all-female group of intrepid climbers will scale Mount Kilimanjaro, whilst a staff team from Warrington Youth Zone will hike 150 miles around the Northwest; both raising funds to support thousands of young people from this incredible facility.

Story

Warrington Youth Zone is due to open in May 2022 and will offer a rich menu of activities, personal development programmes, and a team of youth workers and volunteers to support thousands of young people in the town. The building is incredible, at 27,000 square feet and split over 3 floors, home to state-of-the-art and unrivalled facilities, but it needs financial support to ensure it can open every day of the year, providing young people with somewhere safe and inspiring to go, something positive and enriching to do, and crucially someone trusted they can talk to.
