Hospice care eases the physical and emotional pain of death and dying. Letting people focus on living, right until the end. But too many people miss out on this essential care. Hospice UK fights for hospice care for all who need it, for now and forever.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Not long now till we run the London Marathon on Sunday 25th April 2010, thats me Paddy, 2 of my sons Justin and Liam and my daughter Emma and  yes there is a little family rivalry going on!

I am working very hard to raise my £2000 for 'Help the Hospices' as it is such a good charity.

Hospices are the largest fundraising cause in the country, with over 220 hospices in the who only receive 31% of funding from the government. Hospices are set out to provide a ‘home from home’ for people with incurable illnesses, enabling people to live life to the full, whatever time they have left in a place filled with laughter, love and life.

I am asking for your support to help me raise that very important figure so please dig deep and help support 'Help the Hospices', I would be very grateful for whatever you can pledge, it all counts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you very much for your support!

Paddy
