 I know people are going through some really difficult times but if you could throw me a few quid I would be very grateful. Charities like Bowel Research UK have taken a hit during the pandemic. However, the people they help are still here and will continue to be. Bowel cancer has devastated our family. My mam found out she had bowel cancer and four months later lost her life to it. 

In her memory and as a challenge to myself  in my 40th year I planned to cycle from London to Paris in August 2021. Covid has unfortunately cancelled this particular challenge but I remain undefeated! As it’s in my Mam's memory I now plan to cycle from Leeds to Berwick, stopping in her home town of Amble, and then back again! This challenge will now end up tougher than the original plan covering approx 400 miles with an extra day of cycling. I am doing it with my friend Jess, we will have no support team, no planned food stops and need to cycle wearing backpacks.
