On Sunday 20th May 2018 I will be taking part in the 80 mile sportive around Oxfordshire to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. 

In 2010 our beautiful daughter was born with complications causing her to need surgery and a lengthy stay in the special care unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. We were offered and welcomed the opportunity to live within the hospital complex in the parent accommodation which is run by the charity. These were extremely tough times and without the support of the RMHC, I really don’t know how we would have coped as we lived some distance away. Today, our girl is an extremely bright child so full of life and we could never thank those who helped enough. 

This is my way of giving just a little back so that the parents of future ill children can be close to their loved ones around the clock.
