My story is a simple one. One of my daughters, Amy, has recently had brain surgery to have a cavernoma removed. Cavernomas can cause strokes and Amy had one a couple of years ago. The detection of a cavernoma was the result of this stroke. Many people live their whole lives with a cavernoma and suffer no issues. Many others are not so lucky. Raising funds for Cavernoma Alliance UK will, I hope,  help raise awareness of this potentially life-threatening condition and also help support people and their families who are living with cavernomas.
