Hello all

To celebrate turning 30 I am going to run the Edinburgh Marathon - I appreciate this shows all the signs of an early mid life crisis but it seemed like a good idea at the time. As those of you who have ever seen my silky skills on the football field God choose not to grace me with lightning pace, many might say milk turns faster so seeing me drag my ass round 26 miles has to be worth a few quid.

As part of the challenge I am also hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Alzheimers society. My Granny has suffered from the disease over the past 10 years and my mum has been a full time carer during that period so I would like to do my small bit to help.
