Story
This charity means a great deal to me due to, one close friend who lost his battle and another who is bravely fighting it on a daily basis. Heartbreaking to witness how this disease not only affects the person but also family and friends. It needs to be cured and hopefully by raising much needed funds we can help.
Why boxing? I’ve no idea, anyone that knows me will think how ridiculous it is that I’m even thinking about stepping in to a boxing ring, my last fight was a loss by technical knockout to my sister in 1983!! It seemed like a fun thing to do a few weeks ago but having attended the first session last week I’m now slightly worried! Not only am I the oldest there by at least 10 years, but I’d also imagine I’m the least talented boxer the charity has seen since it’s inception in 2013
The UWCB has raised over £30m for many worthwhile charities so please support as best you can, every penny counts
Many thanks for reading
Paul
