Music MOB (Music Matters in Oswestry and the Borderlands) is an exciting new charity whose aim is to provide free instrument and vocal lessons for children whose families may not have the means to provide them. There will be no cost to schools or families, either for the teaching or instruments.Our scheme began teaching children in two schools in the Oswestry area in October 2021. We have almost 60 instruments to loan out. There is a vast amount of evidence to show that children who learn instruments or have vocal training benefit in many ways. Help us to help them!

I am a trustee - we are now in three schools and more are interested. We also fund exams and will arrange an annual concert to encourage performance.
