Thank you for visiting my just giving page. Here’s a quick explanation of why I am fundraising and how you can change people’s lives by donating.

So , why am I fundraising?

I recently found out that I will be spending three months in India, living and working in an underdeveloped community, leading a team of volunteers on a health and sanitation project, whilst helping to tackle the problems that surround poverty. Our primary aim will be to improve healthcare in these communities and eradicate disease through education and infrastructure, so that people can have access to the basic necessities that many of us take for granted. Before I go, I want to raise as much money and awareness for the charity as possible, so that they can continue with the important work that they are doing to combat global poverty through placements such as the one that I will be a part of.

Over the next few months I will embark upon many fundraising challenges to help raise money and awareness for raleigh international, and in supporting me in these challenges and helping me to reach my fundraising target of £800, your donations will help to bring about lasting change in communities that really need our help. Raleigh International works in communities that have specifically asked for assistance, and their projects are designed to have a sustainable impact in the fight against the causes and consequences of global poverty, so your donations really do make a difference.
