Paul Nihill MBE, British Race Walker, competing in four Olympic games and winning Silver in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. He was appointed the MBE in 1976.

Paul had a passion for boxing and had been Secretary to both Kent Ex Boxers  and Croydon Ex Boxers Association.

He had a love of music too and around Medway was know in the 80s for his record shops in Medway and the running of the Medway Record Fair.  He event put on Rock N Roll events at Chatham Town Hall.

Paul will be remembered for many reasons as he was a very kind gentleman.

The family have chosen SportsAid because it helps talented young athletes overcome the financial obstacles they face in their bid to become the next generation of Olympians, Paralympians and world champions.

We feel as a family Paul would love donations in his memory to this charity.

Due to Covid the funeral is by invitation only due to limited attendees.
