This year I'm attempting my first marathon, which also happens to be the London Marathon!

I've found that the first thing people say to me once I tell them I'm running a marathon (after “are you mad?”) is "I'll sponsor you!" (true story).

Therefore I've decided to raise money for a charity to make the most of this special occasion. I've chosen Cancer Research because unfortunately everyone knows someone who has been affected by Cancer in one way or another, so I figure the more money raised towards finding a cure, the better! Especially since that well known bank has withdrawn its charity affiliated credit cards!

Feel free to leave a comical, motivational or insulting comment with your donation, something that'll help me keep going when my legs give up at mile 20!
