Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On September 22nd 2018 twelve of us will be blundering our way up and down 3 peaks in 24 hours. Starting at Ben Nevis lunchtime on Saturday, Scafell Pike during the night time hours and finally Snowdon early Sunday morning. As we face the challenge we will be mindful of the challenges the Rowe family face every day since the loss of their lovely boys Matthew and Tom. The same challenges countless other families face, with the tragic statistics in suicide especially of young men. We will be fundraising locally prior to the main event with all proceeds going to the Jacob Abraham Foundation who we hope can help many other families as they have helped Louise, Stephen and Charlotte. As well as postvention they provide suicide prevention workshops for secondary schools and youth groups, intervention and prevention training and free well-being and mindfulness sessions for anyone with suicide thoughts and behaviours.

We are all covering the costs of the challenge personally so everything you donate will go to the charity. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
