Story
This November, I’m challenging myself to spin 99 miles in memory of my husband Paul, who loved cycling and inspired everyone around him. I’m raising funds for Brain Tumour Research, to help find new, life-saving treatments and give hope to families facing this devastating disease.
Anyone who’s ever been to a spin class knows — this challenge is not for the faint-hearted! I’ll be sharing updates after every 45-minute session, so you can follow my sweaty journey and cheer me on!
Paul was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumour — an aggressive form of cancer — just 11 weeks before he passed away. His symptoms started suddenly and seemed easy to dismiss as “just stress”: mild headaches, nausea, fatigue. Please, don’t ignore any changes in your health. Early awareness can save lives.
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, yet research remains underfunded. Every donation — big or small — takes us a step closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure for some.
💛 Please support my 99-mile challenge and help fund vital research in Paul’s memory. Together, we'll make a difference.
