My name is Penny and I have lived  with Waldenstrom Macroglobulinaemia for 15 years now. After treatment and ongoing medication I am able to live a full and energetic life now but not quite so much that I can cycle from London to Paris so my wonderful husband Mike and his trusty sidekick Dave Swan will be cycling on my behalf!

This is a mighty challenge and as such they are hoping to raise at least £3000 will be invaluable to WMUK who are a small charity that support patients with this rare type of blood cancer that I have.

There are over 20 people taking on the challenge as a team including patients, friends, family and doctors who will cycle from University College London to University Hospital Pitie Saltpetriere in Paris, both of which have specialists who look after people with WMUK.
