Story
Hi Guys, Sam and I are going to attempt to play 100 holes of golf in a day on Friday 23rd June 2017. Alzheimer's is set to become the UK's biggest killer with more people affected by dementia than cancer.
So many people every day are affected by this, including our Grandad Eric, and just recently there was a 28 year old father of 2 that developed the disease at such a young age! It is a charity close to our hearts and family, and no doubt it will affect so many of us when we grow old, that if we can help find a cure now, we can help safeguard our own, and our children's futures.
This challenge we are undertaking will not be easy, 17.5 hours of walking and golfing, totalling over 30 miles. so we need your support!
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice, and this is what we aim to help with the aids of you guys!
