I've been grateful for the increased conversation around mental health over the last few years in the media and amongst friends & peers. It's helped to erode the stigma, and gave me the confidence to reach out and learn to speak up when it mattered. But I also learned that professional help isn't easily  accessible due to a struggling NHS and prohibitive costs of getting help privately. 

I'm cycling the Dragon Devil Ride - a 300km ride across Bannau Brycheiniog (aka Brecon Beacons) on 18th June, not least because I love to wear lycra 12+ hours but because MIND continues to promote the conversation around Mental Health and offers wide ranging support for those in need.
