We campaign, educate and support SCI people to allow everyone to live a fulfilled life

Story

This page is dedicated to my Peter.

Following an accident at work on the 7th March 2005, Peter had 8 major procedures on his lower spine and further, less invasive surgery, which was equally painfull. None of these fully relieved the constant pain he lived with, or restored his mobility. After all else failed, in October 2009 he finally had a spinal cord stimulator inserted. Even this had to be repositioned in June 2010. This finally gave him some relief to the pain in his lower legs, but not in his back.

In May 2011 he was diagnosed with cancer, and passed away on the 6th July.

Peter would not have wanted anybody to go through the pain he suffered.

I know that he would be happy and comforted in the knowledge that any money raised in his name would help others in similar circumstances.

Thank you for your support.

Maureen.
