The distance between Land's End and John O'Groats is just over 600 miles as the crow flies. I am looking to walk the equivalent distance of a return journey and then an additional 300 miles to make it 1,500 in all. These are specific daily walks and do not include walking around the house and shopping etc. At the same time I will write a daily blog throughout 2022 - making a total of 365 in all.

I will be undertaking these marathons in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance and would be delighted if you could make a donation, however small. My aim is to raise £500 for the charity.

This year will also co-incide with my 70th birthday and so I will be asking for charitable donations rather than presents come October.
