Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting children & young people who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. A range of programmes are provided to support their bereavement needs, well-being, education and development.

Story

As Karli, Claire and Jamie grew up they watched me leave home many times for various reasons and were fortunate enough that I came back home each time. Not all Forces children have been as fortunate.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting children & young people who have lost a parent whilst serving in the British Armed Forces. Inspired by the experience of Army widow Nikki Scott following the death of her husband Cpl Lee Scott in Afghanistan in 2009, the charity is currently providing assistance to hundreds of bereaved Forces children.

Karli and I are running the Rutland Half Marathon on 8th April (Karli's birthday) and also completing the Rat Race (a 20 mile Obstacle Course Race) on 12th May.  If we can find more like-minded lunatics, we aim to complete the Ragnar Relay in September.  This is a 170 mile event to be completed by a team of 10 over 24 hours.

Every penny counts to Scotty's Little Soldiers as it is one of the lesser known military charities. Please donate whatever you can.

Thanks in advance,

Pete and Karli
