Story

No, you are not imagining things....!

On 21 June 2009 I will be taking part in the BHF London to Brighton bike ride - this is an event of 27,000 riders all cycling the 54 mile route in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

My starting point is that I last rode a bike when I used to do a paper round.  My fitness is also questionable (though hopefully the BHF will have a few emergency tents around!)  It will therefore be a monumental effort to pedal my way from London to Brighton, however your support (and the prospect of a warm British beer at the other end) will hopefully give me a subconscious push over the finish line.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
