Lake District Mighty Hike 2021 · 10 June 2021

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

During my own battle with cancer, the support from Macmillan through direct resources and support made the battle much easier for me and my family. Any money raised will help somebody like me cope better through the experience too.

We're walking the Lake District Mighty Hike after it was postponed last year. The hike is 26 miles around Ullswater in the Lake District, scaling 3,000 ft in the process which is the height of Scafell on it's own.

The walk is raising money for Macmillan, an amazing charity that provides help and support for cancer victims and their families, and does a lot of work behind the scenes with legislation and government support for people dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

Chris has pulled us all together for this hike, and his story here (https://bit.ly/3cFxCzx) is a real story of remaining positive through extreme adversity.

Thank you for any donations, they really do make a difference and will prove invaluable to the many people Macmillan supports.
