Story
I'm taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk to help Breast Cancer Now fund their world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer.
This will be my fourth Pink Ribbon Walk but the first one without my dear friend Sue. I met Sue when we were both members of the Cardiff Breast Cancer Now fundraising committee. That’s how I ended up doing my first Pink Ribbon Walk with Sue.
This year I will be doing the 20 mile Blenheim Palace Pink Ribbon Walk in memory of Sue and raising funds for Breast Cancer Now research that will ensure that one day people like Sue don’t die of breast cancer. I know she will be on shoulder and by my side every step of the way.
By 2030, it’s estimated that 1.2 million women will be living with the disease. Breast Cancer Now are uniting to make life-saving discoveries and are here to offer expert support to anyone, the whole way through their breast cancer experience. But they cant do it alone. By sponsoring my Pink Ribbon Walk you can help change the lives of men and women and the future of breast cancer. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
