Team Barbra are taking part in PinkRibbonWalk2024-BlenheimPalace

Our friend Sue along with Cathy set up Team Barbra when they both joined Breast Cancer Now as volunteers. Barbra is a giant pink bra that lived in the Breast Cancer Now Cardiff office and they decided to use her as the team mascot. Over the years Team Barbra grew with others joining the team. We took part in many, many events and have raised over £50k for Breast Cancer Now. Sadly over the years we have lost a few team members and Sue was always the first to say we must do something for them .

Sue was receiving treatment for secondary breast cancer when she died unexpectedly last December. So this year Team Barbra will be walking the Blenheim Pink Ribbon Walk for Sue in her memory.

We will be raising funds for Breast Cancer Now to fund vital research to ensure that one day people like Sue don’t die.
