Story

On Sunday 15th May, I will be racing Haydon the Womble at Plough Lane. I have been practicing lots by chasing my pug Barney around the living room and garden. I hope to beat Haydon and win the race. It will be tough but I will have my light up shoes to add extra speed.

For running the fastest I possibly can I will be aiming to raise money for the the Dons Local Action Group who do lots of great work in the local charity to help families and children. Read below to find out more about them. Thank you for any donations you can make and I promise to run as quickly as I can.

The last year has been challenging for so many. Out of the shared sense of uncertainty and upheaval came the Dons Local Action Group, with the simple aim to help those in need in our local communities. We began providing food packages to those who were suddenly shielding, then refurbishing laptops for kids with no access to online learning, DLAG soon went on to become the go-to for helping those in poverty, in need of food, furniture, household equipment, digital devices and more across the boroughs of Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston.
