Story

*Update* 28th September 2010

We did it! 8hrs 3 min to complete the full Challenge and placed 13th. Now resting weary legs and smiling at the slightly reduced waist measurements!

The Story so far..

4 men, not particularly fit versus the Scottish Wilderness.

A 50km mountain bike ride, 3km canoeing across Loch Morlich and 10km up a mountain, more if we get lost (which, inevitably, we will!)

..And we didn't tell our Mums that we wouldn't be home for tea!

To help encourage this foolhardy venture, or to put it another way to help pay for the inevitable rescue operation, please give generously.

What we don't spend on the helicopter we'll give to the Sailors Society to help seafarers - many of whom live and work in substandard conditions and with no access to the things we take for granted - like the ability to call our loved ones when we want to, or the freedom to step ashore for a few hours when in port - feel a little less far from home.

PS The mountain in the picture is not the one we're climbing - ours is MUCH bigger.
