AMA means mother in Nepali, (and all 3 of us women in the team are mothers Our team connected to each other through Runderbolts, a running community promoting running to Ethnic minorties, and encouraging Diversity and Inclusion. Unfortunately Miaya lost her mum to Alzheimers, and this touched her life and, she embarked upon a special friendship with Dal Kaji and Min. Prabina’s mother in law has recently just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. We have come together, as Team AMA, to raise funds for Alzheimers Research UK, by running the London Marathon. Any donation, along with kind words of encouragement are appreciate. We hope you will join our team on the day and watch us complete the London Marathon in full glory.
