AMA means mother in Nepali, (and 3 team members are mothers)

Our team connected to each other through Runderbolts, a running community promoting running to Ethnic minorties, and encouraging Diversity and Inclusion. It has beem great to bring people together and creating a running coommunity. Unfortunately, one of out team members’, Miaya lost her mum to Alzheimers just as covid commenced. During this period, she formed a special friendship with Ruden (Runderbolts founder) Dal Kaji (Dee) and Min, which was a great support. Prabina’s ( Runderbolts member) mother in law has recently just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

We have therefore come together, as Team AMA, to raise funds for Alzheimers Research UK, by running the London Marathon.
