Sport Relief is back on the 13th March. This year, I'm helping to bring the nation together to get active and raise life changing amounts of money through the power of sport.

Story

This year, It's Game On with Sport Relief - and every pound counts. We’ve created this page because we want to make a difference and help take on poverty and injustice.

We are a Residential Care Home based in Poulton Le Fylde and currently have people living with us aged between 75 and 103. Sport Relief runs from the 9th March-13th March, and in support of this, we have decided  to run a series of events taking place on the Monday and the Friday.

Our friends at Fortitude Fitness have kindly donated an exercise bike for a day on the Monday (9th), where residents and staff (and even visitors) are welcome to jump on and do their bit to help us reach a target of 50km throughout the day, but we’re hoping to hit that by lunchtime and push ourselves even further. There will also be a Sport Related raffle with lots of Health & Fitness related prizes.

On the Friday (13th) we’ll have an hour long seated Clubbercise class in the morning, where residents will work up an appetite with some 90’s Club Classics.

In the afternoon we’ll be competing for the Primrose Cup (and bragging rights) in a team relay race.

Please sponsor our page by making a donation and help support people living incredibly tough lives here in the UK and around the world.
